Hello,

Kind of embarrassed posting this because I don't think it is worthy of this forum. There is some pretty amazing stuff posted on here. No matter,I bought this vase because I thought it was interesting. I don't know much about it, and I don't expect it to have much of a history. I noticed there is no mark, but rather a sticker with a Chinese writing. I just thought it was interesting, and spent 8 dollars on it. If anyone could tell me more information that would be great. Is it at least worth more than $8?

not exactly sure when these were made, perhaps the 1970s/80s, but the label on the bottom describes the product "Semi-finished porcelain woven with bamboo strips" and says "made in the Peoples Republic of China." seems nice but not an antique/fine art type item, more of a tchotchke (sp?)
