Subject:Re: Indian Painting
Posted By: Pablo Sun, Mar 31, 2013 Hi, Barry. It's a representation of Shiva (blue, central figure) and the gopis (the female shepperds) It's an actual paint, maybe painted in cotton or silk, and it solds for 5$ in India on the wholesale, and maybe 10$ at retail. Anyone that travel to India bring back dozens of them to resell. They are nice pieces of popular art, and you'll see them up to 50$ in occident. |
