Subject:Old Chinese Porcelain Marks
Posted By: Marmuko Sun, Mar 24, 2013 IP: 108.28.248.234

Greetings. I have two old "dipping bowls" that are hand painted and measure about 2.5 inches in diameter and 1.5 inches high. They are both marked but I have no idea how to identify the marks/time period. I wonder if someone might help. These came from an estate with many Asian arts collected during the early 1900's. They are very delicate. I have put photos up on Photobucket and will provide a link. Thank you.

Japanese, not Chinese, the mark seems to read Takasaka

Thank you for that clarification! Maybe I can do some more research now.
