Subject:Help identify this object
Posted By: Stephanie Sun, Mar 31, 2013 IP: 24.166.43.255 I need some help in idetifying this object. It might be bronze or brass. Very heavy and completely sealed. There is something inside. No markings on the bottom other than some asian writing.

Posted By: Bill H Mon, Apr 01, 2013 This apparently fabricated item is made in the traditional form of an ingot of silver, which would have been cast. The characters on the topside are "cai yuan" (財源 - financial resources). I have no idea what's inside, unless it might be the ghost of Christmas past. Just kidding of course!
