Subject:Imari Plate

Hello,
Can anyone provide information about
this "Imari Plate" marked England, but
also marked Japan in the crown. In the
rope mark on the bottom are some letters,
but are very small.but I can make out ...Co.

Hi Kurt, What you've got there is a piece of Royal Crown Derby porcelain. "Japan" would refer to the pattern and the numbers should specify when it was made. It looks pretty old, I'd think maybe late 19th century maybe a little earlier. If you go hunting on the interweb with this info you should be able to find out it's exact identity.
