Subject:made on Kangxi time?
Posted By: Matos Thu, May 09, 2013 IP: 1.170.10.120

I would like to have your opinion about Jar. Made on Kangxi period or a copy from Guangxu period ?
Color are good and match with that time, porcelain is also good (see photo of bubbles and red iron color seal with 6 characters 大慶康熙年志 ), no visible iridescence.
Thanks in advance

This vase appears to date no earlier than the late Chinese Republic (ended 1949) to mid-20th century. The porcelain painter was trying to emulate the famille verte palette and style of the early 18th century. The mark appears to be fragmented in spots, a clue that it probably was applied by decal.

I've put a link below to a recent discussion aimed at identifying the age of another dish. Some of the comments and photos are relevant to your query about on this vase I believe.

I've also uploaded some other images of another vase about the same age as yours with an apocryphal Yongzheng mark.
