Hi, I am helping my grandfather consolidate his estate for various purposes. We are having some difficulty with the many Asian paintings that he has. He and my grandmother travelled every year, sometimes several times a year, throughout Asia and the rest of the world. Each time they would acquire something interesting.

Unfortunately, he is 97 and cannot remember where or when each was purchased. He can't recall if any were from a gallery, collector or even a barber shop.

If anyone can also direct me to a website or other resource that can help with identifying seals, etc. that would be fantastic.

The first painting I'm asking a question on is part of a 3-painting set. Each has the same three seals on them, though I think the calligraphy is different. Hopefully the pictures will suffice for some help.

Sorry, I recently learned that this painting is likely Japanese.
