Subject:Tibetan Wall Hangings
Posted By: Marcella Birnbaum Sat, Sep 21, 2013 IP: 37.152.142.249

From what I have read, it seems that you are the one who knows about these handicrafts.
I have attached photos of two beautiful wall hangings that were just handed down to a friend of mine.
We are interested to know anything about them, if you can spare the time and your knowledge.

We reside in Spain,
Please see two attached wall hangings

Thank you for your kindness in advance

With warm regards & saludos

In addition to other information you're likely to obtain here on the forum, you may wish to search the internet under the term "thangka", which is the name usually applied to these artistic visions of the Tantric Buddhist cosmos and its well populated pantheon. I've included the URL for one site below.

Best regards,

Bill H.

I see you posted this a while ago - hope you are still interested in information. This Thangka is called "The Wheel of Life" or the Wheel of deluded existence. It represents the 6 realms and the cycle of samsara.
Below is a link to a full description of the imagery in the thangka.
