Subject:HK Governor MaxLehose's Dragon Scroll Painting
Posted By: mienchou Sat, Oct 12, 2013 IP: 174.117.35.31 My mother received this scroll from the Governor of Hong Kong MacLehose as a parting gift. The scroll is very long and there is more of it but I could not photograph it all. We have always wanted to know who the artist is and whether this is a good item or just a piece of tourist ware. Thank you very much for any help. |

Posted By: mienchou Sun, Oct 13, 2013 I have posted more pictures of the red ink stamps. There are many red ink stamps on this work. After looking at it closely, it appears to be painted on silk not paper. Would appreciate any assistance in identifying the artist. Thank you |
