Posted By: Super Tue, Oct 22, 2013 The color and texture does almost appear to be nephrite, however unless it is very small, I just cannot imagine they will waste pretty nice celadon nephrite jade to carve a modern ox. If it is big and can be scratched, it is more likely serpentine with artificial staining to made it look old.
