Subject:Chinese Gouache Painting

Hi...its been a while since I posted anything on here but this painting has caused me some thought over the past few weeks since I bought it amongst a load of other things at an auction. All I know is that it was described as a Chinese Gouache painting of Clowns on a Fantasy background. (not very helpful!).
Can anyone help with identifying if its worth anything and also what the translation of the script is?
