Subject:Ajanta painting?

Hi,

I was hoping someone could help me at least identify this painting. It seems to be from the Ajanta era, ancient India. But i am unable to find this exact image. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Your painting appears to be Thai and probably an illustration for the Buddhist story known as the "Vessantara Jataka". See the below link for details and a couple of relevant Thai paintings.
