Hi,

I have several pieces by this artist as my wife studied with him in Bejing in the 1990's.

The artist used to exhibit all over the world until he spoke out against Tieneman Square.

If anyone can identify him or give any information, i would be most greatful.

Usually I won't translate signatures or seals for people who don't share the image of the whole painting. After all, this is not a free translating service.

But in this case, I am prepared to do so. The artist is Zhang ZhiZhong, 張志中 who appears to be still very active in China's art industry.

Hi Mike,

Sorry, i didn't think that anyone would be able to see the chop from a full photo. I've included one here. Thank you for your help though, it will help trying to track him down.
