Posted By: Guy Mon, Dec 16, 2013 It think it is a fine Japanese netsuke in ivory, signed 'Hogyoku' (宝玉). Meiji period I guess. Maybe, the specialists in this field could give more info.

Posted By: Galdrin Fri, Jan 24, 2014 Netsuke or okimono, I'm no expert in anyway but I think size of the item and some extra information about what seems to be 3 holes in the second picture might give you some extra answers.
