Any information on this piece would be greatly appreciated. Notice that there are two symbols on the bottom of the tea pot.

Hi Jennifer,
there is a similar vessel in the Smithsonian's Museum of Asian Art, and they call it a teapot or oil bottle. It is dated in 19th to mid-20th century and was made in the Shiwan kilns of Guangdong, China.
