I have this brass jar that I have been trying to research and find its value and authenticity. Is anyone able to help me solve the mystery of this bowl. I feel it is very old.

what makes you think it's very old, because the mark isn't very clear?

Your brass item carries probably the most common mark on brass items. Unfortunately, this does not mean that it was made in the Ming dynasty. In fact, the crudeness of the casting means this is most probably or fairly recent manufacture.
