Always struggle to find translation of Japanese or Chinese. Love the great hand painted scene on this vase,besides translation help what shape is this referred to?
Smaller scene on reverse side.

title is "tall mountains, flowing water", cant quite read the artist's name, perhaps Duan Chang? don't remember what the shape is called but you'll find out quickly by flipping through auction catalogs for similarly shaped vessels

not in the inscription, no, I would think this was made within the past 4 decades. The mark is partly illegible but seems to read something along the lines of "made in China" (the China part is clear)
