Subject:Unknown origon of brass vase

This vase has been in our family for about 80 years. I am interested in determining the origon/age. It is made of brass (I think) and has enamel detailing. The most interesting is the characters (maybe Chinese) in the bottom (inside) of the vase. Hope someone can help.

Your vase is chinese and is 19th century. Rémy.
