Subject:plate
Posted By: Anthony Tue, Jul 01, 2014 IP: 72.190.23.131 Can someone help me confirm the dating of this plate? I am leaning towards Kangxi period. It does have chatter marks that can be faintly seen in sunlight under the glaze on the bottom. It is hard to tell in the pictures but the glaze has a blue/grey tint to it. There are several small rim frits to the brown edge I found this plate in a small antique shop several years ago while living in South Africa.
