Subject:Mark On Green Fluted Vase
Posted By: Brett Mon, Jul 28, 2014 IP: 69.119.200.71

Hello,

Thanks for all the help on my other posts :)

Got another vase with a mark I'm trying to identify. This was one vase in a pair but the other one was broken so I didn't buy it. As usual any help is appreciated. Thanks

Looks like a recent Japanese vase imitating Chinese vases with qingbai glazes from the Song dynasty. The mark is upside down in your photo but my Japanese cursive reading isn't good enough to figure it out right side up either.

You have a Korean celadon "melon" vase. Google Korean celadon and find more information.
