Subject:Authentic ancient jade piece or reproduction?

Hello,
I posted a question earlier on this message board on 8/19/14 about identifying a piece. It was a "pig-dragon" that I had bought from a flea market. The story about how I obtained these pieces is posted there. I wanted to post another piece I had gotten at the same time. Is this nephrite or jadeite? Does anyone recognize the time period that perhaps it would have been made? Thank you in advance for any help.

Not jadeite, possibly nephrite.

Sorry to say that it is not older than about 1940. I see the cut in the #1 picture, made with 2 lines rather than one, and the shattering of those groves with the use of a high speed tool.
