Hi
new to the forum.
I have a chinese bronze in my collection
It was excavated in Central Vietnam.

I need to take more pictures of it but it has an incredible patina with malachite encrustation inside the base and is very fragile.

Can anyone tell me what was the purpose of this vessel and if it is zhou or shang dynasty or more recent??

Much more recent, apparently filled with a bunch of cash coins. Need better photos of the container though.

Not the type of vessel that would hold a coin conglomeration like that...A later marriage
