Subject:Little Frog Netsuke

Hello....I found this tiny frog at a local church sale and it's marked on the bottom. I think it is a Japanese Netsuke but I don't know if it's a modern reproduction or an antique piece. I know there are many reproductions out there and these signatures appear 'newer'. I would appreciate any ideas you have. Thank you.

Your little frog looks new to me, the signature looks mechanically applied. I hope its not Ivory.

Well, it's crudely carved and doesn't appear to be ivory making the signature pretty irrelevant.
