Subject:Chinese brass bowl indentification.

Hi, I recently inhereted this Chinese looking brass bowl. The only thing I know about it is, that my grandmother bought it from an estate sale (ie large country house with grounds etc)somewhere in Scotland. I would assume she purchased it circa 30-60 years ago.
It's marked on the base, but the bottom right character is unclear. Any information that could be provided on the bowl would be appreciated.
