Subject:Painting on paper

I've had this painting for many years and was hoping to find out the country of origin and possibility the artists name. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Bert

Mikeoz has better skills than me at this, all I can read is the surname Huang. First character of the given name is unclear to me (somewhat resembles but is not 居), then perhaps feng 鏠). Not knowing the etymology, I don't know what the modern form of the character that repeats on the seal is (can't be 同 with that extra horizontal, can it?), but it is not the same character that I can't read in the signature, it's part of a nickname.

Painting style is not bad, but hard to pin down I think other than second half 20th century plus or minus a decade or so

Sorry not to be more helpful

Hi Bert,
The artist you name as Huang Ke is surnamed Ke (柯) and has the given name Huang (璜), whereas the painter of your scroll is surnamed Huang (黄), given name not clear. East Asian language surnames typically precede rather than follow the given name. Sorry to not be more helpful!
