Subject:horse statue

Hello All! Can anyone identify the material this horse statue was carved from? I realize it is difficult to critique via a photo! It does has a nice clear "ting" (if you will) when flicked with a finger! Any assistance with this query would be greatly appreciated! Thank you! David.

My first guess is Glass... look close up for air bubbles.
