Posted By: Guy Mon, Dec 15, 2014 The artist is Utagawa Kunitora (acitve early 19th c.). This print is 'Mii no bansho' (Evening bell at Mii Temple) from the series 'Omi hakkei' (Eight views of lake Biwa) - published by Yamadaya Shobei ca. 1820. |

Posted By: Mel Hall Tue, Dec 16, 2014 Thank you. Where do I start as far as determining? It is and has been in a hard plastic sleeve. In the title picture in my original post, you can see spots at the edge of the painting, otherwise, in tact - no creases or tears. |
