could someone help me to identify this mark on my ivory piece of which I think it represents a teahouse. And is it possible to tell me the period. (modern or not ?)

Not Japanese, rather Chinese I guess.
Signature reads 静申.

Probably 'Jing Shen' but the Chinese experts here have to give more decisive answers about the meaning, age and signature of this object.
