Subject:wiseman figure seal

Hello all! Can someone please translate the characters on this 6 5/8" high wiseman figure seal and tell me what kind of material it was carved from and it's possible age! Any assistance with this query would be greatly appreciated! Thank you! David.

This is new/recent, not made as a seal for use but as a decorative object. The simplified characters read Jiaqing (嘉庆), referring to the emperor who ruled 1796-1820.

It is a "Tibet Lama or High Priest", and made from lime stone. Very well could be very very old.
