Subject:Chinese water color painting
Posted By: Bill Thu, Jul 02, 2015 IP: 104.173.65.173 I have this water color painting that has Chinese characters that I believe are Xi You Ji. There is a red ink signature at the bottom of the art. I'm just trying to find out what this is.This was found in a dumpster near the UCLA campus about 13 years ago.

Posted By: rat Mon, Jul 06, 2015 Xi You Ji is the name of a Chinese novel that translates as "Journey to the West". Perhaps your picture is a scene from that story, but without images it's impossible to say.
