This painting belongs to a friend, who tells me she received it as a gift no earlier than 20 years ago. The donor said he had bought it in China. My friend says it came as a scroll and she had it framed in Canada. She has no idea in what part of China it was bought. I am attaching photos of the painting, the script and the block signature. Thanks for any identifying information you can provide.

Glad to offer an opinion but please repost the photos which didn't come through; you may need to resize them first.

Thanks for your response. My apologies for the photos not posting. I re-sized the photos and sent a new message yesterday. I see the three photos did attach to the new message. I would appreciate any help you can give.
