Subject:Figurine Material and Mark Identification

I've had this awhile and I'm not sure if this figurine is made of bone or possibly ivory? Also, not sure what the mark represents on the bottom. I have more pictures but I can only attach 3 to this post

I believe the deformed mark on your partially seen image may read "Teruyuki" (照之). The link is to a discussion thread concerning the same mark on the International Netsuke Society website.
