Subject:ginger jar
Posted By: David Thu, Dec 24, 2015 IP: 99.236.194.58 Hello all! Can anyone identify the mark on this 7 1/2" high ginger jar for me? It is a seal style mark with 2 characters and a lion holding a sword and a rising sun in the background. Any assistance with this query would be greatly appreciated! Thank you! David. |

Posted By: plasticman Tue, Jan 05, 2016 If this symbol is Chinese, please tell the Iranians. It is on their flag, their coinage and passports.I cannot find it on any Chinese works, yet it is on Iranian products of many varied types. |
