Subject:Blue and White Vase
Posted By: Marilyn Sun, Jan 10, 2016 IP: 24.8.149.152 Hi, I love this blue and white Chinese vase and I'd like to know if it is old or a reproduction. It stands 10 1/4" high. Thank you for your insight! |

Do an internet search for that term and you will get the idea. Especially note any search results for exhibitions of "Transitional" wares. There have been three that I know of. The decoration in your piece may have been an attempt by a not-too-bad painter to copy from an exhibition catalogue. He went overboard with the blobby-dots. |
