First of all, thank you for this forum! I was looking on the internet to identify a silk painting I bought earlier today in a secondhand store. Thinking it wouldn't be that difficult finding existing seals of silk paintings, wow, Was I wrong! So now I need somebody's help from this forum. Thank you very much in advance... And while you are on it, could you make an estimation of the date? I suspect mid 20 century seeing the frame it is put in. Appreciate your help, Gert.

am a bit stuck reading parts of this one. the upper section of the inscription is the date, the fourth month of 1963, but the artist's name is a bit unclear to me: the surname seems to be Zhu 朱 from the seal, but I can't read the other character in the seal which is presumably the given name. the name with which the artist has signed I'm also stuck on: 白-something. the seal is another nickname and reads something like "the mountain man of the white clouds" 白云山人
