i have this Powder Blue Famille Verte Tea caddy or Hexagonal Jar

i would like to know if it is Chinese Or a European Copy, it has an antique Shop label to the base from Uruguay.

i do not think it is Samson, it feel like a Chinese piece but the base does not look Chinese.

thanks in advance
Steve

I agree, the base indicates early to mid 20th century, originally from China, the enamel & palette does not strike me as European.
However a lovely object none the less.

sorry about the lateness in reply

thank you for your response, i think it must be a Chinese piece from handling it i would say it feels 18th / 19th century it just has that strange base i may remove the original retail label and perhaps that will give me some more clues.
thanks again
Steven
