I am purchasing this necklace. From the pictures can you tell if this is real jade.

Hi there,

Most probably real jadeite jade of poor quality (color, translucency, carving, inclusions, shape).

Unless color would be better under natural light, it should cost around 25$ or less.

Could have been carved out from left-over pieces when the stone is cut to look for the center part of the stone (where color and structure of the jade would be of better quality than the outer part i.e jade skin).
