Subject:Signature on Japanese painting

I need help identifying the artist of this large painting. I have some info that was gathered by someone else but am not sure if it's accurate: They were told the artist was Hogyo or Hokyo in the Shijo-Ha Style. There are other notes but I don't know how they relate: from early 19th century- Maruyam Okyo (from the school of?); Nihon Shoga-Kotto Daijiten-book from 1915 p. 1064; lived in Kyoto
