Below is a link to information in a UK eBay auction of similar dragonware with the same markings (some with variant character forms). The kanji on yours and the other is: 大日本, 薩广国, 錦谷製, 恒信画 -- "Dai Nihon (Great Japan), Satsuma (no) kuni (The Satsuma Fiefdom), Nishikitani Sei (Made by Nishikitani), Hisashishin ga (painted by Hisashishin)"

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/131062458954?

The transliteration is as rendered in the eBay listing. I have not tried to verify its accuracy.

Best regards,

Bill H.

Bill,

I read the names in this context as 'Dai Nippon, Satsuma (no) kuni, Kinkoku sei, Hisanobu ga'.

Guy.

The Bonhams expert reads the painter's name as Tsunenobu (not Hisanobu).

See link below.

Guy
