FYI only, here are results from a recent Sotheby's sale of Classical Chinese Paintings, which seems fit fare for novices like myself in that field an appreciation not only of what's hot and what's not but also a standard of comparison against the kind of stuff we usually meet on the street.

I'd seen the Papp Collection online catalog too but had deleted it and was too distracted by preparations to escape the approaching hurricane here in Florida to pull up and share the link to it on the Sotheby's website. Sothebys.com is among the must-see websites for anyone researching a piece of Chinese or any other art.
