Subject:Statue of Fukurokuju info

I have had this statue for some time because I think it is an interesting piece. I was wondering if anybody could shed some light on the artist or anything. It is very heavy and the paint is very detailed. Thank you in advance.

Hello Darin!

Good looking piece you got there! looks to be carved of the traditional fortuous man himself.

the paint selection and style of decor on his robes seem to point to a modern manufacture. it was most probably made in the last 30 years or so.
