Subject:Interpreting Story on Indian/Thai Tapestry Part 1/3

As far as I know this tapestry is of either Indian or Thai origin. It is possibly a Hindu story in a Thai style. It seems to depict a lusting king, perhaps a love story as well. Any ideas?

Bali. Thought it may be Ramayana, but the pictures don't seem to follow the narrative,
