Message Sorry, but my connotation was wrong, the Matsuura Shōdō line can be ruled out completely. The signature here reads, 松洞亀城 七十七翁 - Shōdō Kijō The Old Man of 77 (Matsuura Shōdō committed suicide at the age of 25) Lower (New) seal, 原清 - Gensei/Genshō or Hara Kiyoshi (Unidentifiable) The colophon part of inscription read (3rd Pic.) 憂慮七十五翁 一日筆記三題 A concerning 75 years old man who makes three inscriptions in a day Seal, 睦翁 - Mutsuo or Boku'o (Undefinable) I think the paintings and inscriptions could be assigned to masters of tea ceremony or haiku poets. With regardsm I.Nagy Post a Response |
