Mt. Fuji painting - translation? |

Message Thanks! So, a quick Google search turned up nothing, except one link. http://www.bonsaiinformation.com/artistspage.html There is one artist they mention, Doi Kinkoku Born in 1901 (34th year of Meiji), and in the brief description says "Tan inscription found on one of his scrolls says Suiu." The grammatical errors suggests the text has been translated, and perhaps incorrectly in parts. Question - Is it posible and perhaps more likely that 'Suiu' is a pseudonym, rather than the artist's actual name? Post a Response |
