| Authentic Junware or Early Shiwan Pottery Bowl |

Message This piece is a bit of an enigma for me. I can not tell if it is authentic misfired Junware, or possibly misfired Mid Qing Shiwan pottery. Showing areas of brush applied blue and purple with blown or splashed brown/red, similar to Junware. There are buble bursts with red, pitting, crizzling, and some signs of what might be worms(?). During the Qing period, Shiwan kilns achieved great success in imitating the technique of the Shu kiln in Jizhou, Jangxi province. The pic below of a documented Mid-Qing Shiwan, jun glazed inkstone is the best example for comparison to my bowl that also shows the same brown glaze on the interior. Rather than me going on a long rant about what I have read, would greatly appreciate any help and comments. Once this topic is posted will add more detailed pictures of the glaze. Only allowed three at a time.
