| Help identifying Japanese signature and seal — possible artist “Matsuki” |

Message Hello, I am looking for help identifying the artist’s name and seal on a Japanese ink painting of a cat. • The red seal seems to read 松木 (Matsuki) in tensho (seal script). • Above the romanized name “Matsuki” are two Japanese characters written in cursive style, possibly 夢文 (Yumebun or Mubun), which might be the artist’s gō (art name). • The artist is believed to have lived in Paris, at the Cité Falguière, during the time when many Japanese painters and other international artists stayed there. I would greatly appreciate any help confirming the reading of the cursive kanji and any information about an artist named “Matsuki” who might have used this gō and seal. I have attached close-up images of the signature, seal, and the full artwork. Thank you very much in advance for your expertise.
