I inherited this lovely piece from my Grandmother about 10 years ago. From what I can remember, she bought it at auction (for about $700AUD) in or around Sydney, at least 40 years ago, though likely more. They are a lovely piece and are hugely sentimental, I wouldn’t value them any less, regardless of what they turn out to be, but I’d love to know if they if they’re genuine, and if they are, how old they might be and whether there may be anything interesting about them in particular .

I’m about 90% sure they are made of nephrite.
They weight approximately 1.3kg, are 14cm long from nose to nose and 11.5cm wide across the base. It has an odd white material in the majority of the recesses, concentrated in the least accessible areas, especially between the two horses. The white becomes less visible when wiped with a damp cloth and returns as it dries.

I would love to hear if anyone has any perspective or may have seen a similar piece.
