dear Dr. Amy Heller, I read your article published in the last issue of SRAA and I found it very interesting. My subject is Sogdian art and in particular textile iconography. I just finished my PhD dissertation that's on the Indian elements in Sogdian art and there is a part also on the Tibeto-Sogdian relations. I found your article very interesting but unfortunately I had already gave to the office my dissertation. I'll use your article when I am suppose to defend my thesis. I have also written some articles on Sogdian textile iconography: one is in the Internet (www.transoxiana.com.ar), onother one is published in an Italian journal and others are forthcoming. If you are intereste to receive the one published in the Italian journal (Annali di Ca' Foscari, 2000) I can send you a copy.
