Tsakli Painting  (Initiation Image) Depicting Dorje Drolo

The tsakli depicting Dorje Drolo, a wrathful manifestation of Padmasambhava, who rides a pregnant tigress with a saddle of flayed human skin as he subdues the demons of negativity that beset Tibet in ancient times. He wears a look of fierce determination, and carries a kila-purbha to sever the 3 poisons that are the causes of suffering. In his right hand he hold the Tibetan letter 'sha'.

A single line of fine black Tibetan script to the reverse.
