Subject:Do not believe it is archaic Horse.
Posted By: Super Mon, Apr 30, 2018 Appears to be a modern piece that was made by serpentine (with a very small chance to be nephrite) that can be scratched and with artificial white weathering on its surface that was created by chemical to make it look archaic. Unfortunately neither its material nor carving quality indicate it was anything but modern. A scratch test (recommended by Ernest) will confirm its material. Thanks for sharing and no disrespect intended. |
